ISLE Inc., its clients and employees celebrated the life of Jeff Mandel with a BBQ dinner at Moore’s Tavern on the southside of Youngstown. Giant quarters adorned the walls and chocolate quarters were passed out to all guests, as Jeff’s favorite pastime was collecting and trading quarters.
Some of Jeff’s favorite music was played and many toasts were given in his honor. Jeff’s friends told stories of his quarters, his radios, his geographical prowess, and his kindness. Jeff’s friend, Bob Thompson, remarked, “Jeff was a good man.” David Filicky added, “I miss that bum!”
