Knoll Run Golf Course, 1421 Struthers-Coitsville Road, will be the setting June 11 for the seventh annual Golden String Drive for the Disabled benefit golf outing.
All proceeds from the Golden String golf outing will go directly to recreation and socialization activities planned for 2010 and towards renovations and additions being made to Farmer Casey’s Ranch, located on 52 acres in Coitsville where The Purple Cat day habilitative program runs their operation. Last years golf outing proceeds helped to fund a covered pavilion on the property that plays host to many activities for Golden String clients including an annual summer fishing and nature camp for local high school students with disabilities.
To Play
Play will get underway with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and will feature a four-person scramble. Cost is $70 per golfer or $280 per foursome and includes greens fees & cart, complimentary breakfast, lunch & dinner, beverages and event & skill prizes. Sponsorship packages are also available for companies or individuals who wish to sponsor the event.
Corporate Package: $600.00 includes four golf participants, banner recognition as corporate sponsor and hole sponsorship.
Hole Sponsorship Package: $100.00 includes hole sponsorship.
Monetary and product donations are also being accepted for an auction, event & skill prizes and golfer goodie bags.
