On Wednesday, October 22, 2014, the world lost Jimmie Lee Lamp. Jimmie was an ISLE residential friend and attended the Purple Cat.
Jimmie loved recycling, working on his computer, bowling, and McDonald’s. He will be sadly missed by his housemates, Mark and Greg. Jimmie passed away surrounded by his ISLE staff members, who were his best friends. Jimmie leaves a doting Mother, Mae, and a sister, Beatrice. Site Supervisor, Terry Valentino orchestrated great care for Jimmie during his courageous battle with cancer. Jimmie was one of ISLE’s first clients, having started ISLE services in 1999, with Jimmy Sutman being his first direct care staff member.
