September Staff of the Month: Geri Such

Q. How many years have you worked at ISLE?

A. It will be three years on Oct. 30 Mike Kish’s birthday. I’ll never forget that day. I walked in on a

party for Michael he got some very unusual gifts. Everyone was having

so much fun. We laughed had cake and I was welcomed with much

kindness that I knew this was the place for me.

Q.  What department do you work in?

A. Direct Care at Marenelli Manor

Q. Name someone else from ISLE (a client) that inspires you and why?

A. That’s a hard question to answer there are so many inspirational people in this

company. If I have to pick one it would have to be David Filicky for all his

hard work. I call him a workhorse, he never wants to miss a day of work

no matter what and even when he comes home from working at the

farm he starts right away on his recycling. He has so much dedication

to keeping the earth green and clean! He inspires me to be a hard

worker and give it my all even when things don’t go my way and in his

words “when you gotta a job you just do it”!

Q. What is your favorite candy bar?

A. Milky Way for sure. It’s been my favorite forever

Q. What is your favorite breakfast cereal?

A. Special K Chocolaty Delight. It’s a grown up cereal with pieces of chocolate in it, sometimes I like to slice a

banana in it too to make it extra yummy.

Q. Name one of your favorite songs and why?

A. Think Good Thoughts by Colbie Caillat. I call it my HAPPY song. If I’m in a “mood” I put on this song and

by the end of the song I’m happy and singing. Try it!!!

Q. If you could be any animal, what would it be?

A. I would want to be a dolphin and live on the Purple Cat Farm. I would spend my day swimming

around and I would always know I would have so many friends who

would love me and take care of me.

Q. Who is your favorite goldenstringradio.org DJ?

A. Ted Hardie, Walter Mootz, and Mike Kish because they are just so cool.

Q. What is your favorite game show of all time?

A. FAMILY FUED!! Every night at 7:30 Aldo, Ted and myself meet in David’s room to see which family

will win “the big money.” We scream out the answers and laugh at the

silly, sometimes embarrassing questions. We often talk about putting a

team together and being on the show, as soon as we can talk Kathy into

being on our team we’re going to head out with our family to win “the

big money”!!
